Hey all,
I would like to change the inside image, but how do I start? First make the inside image transparant, and then the outside transparant again ...
Don't know how to start. So I would need the outside to be transparant, and the inside as well, so I can put another image behind it.
Does anyone know how to do this, please?
Thanks.

Reduce the image to two colours (white and black) to create a mask then use that to key in your new image. You may need to do a bit of tidying up of the black and white image around the edges of the background.

Hi there chechu,
I did not have the actual images for your project, but you can
see a working example here...

maybe photoshop-elements will help to solve your question.

Hey Coothead,
Does that mean you have the overlay image image somewhere in store, as you used it in this animation?
If you could send me that, where the figure has a tiny tiny border, then the outside and inside can be made transparent, right?

Coothead, is it possible to make a mask like you have in your example, of the two images attached, please? I can't seem to cut out the people in the images.
Thanks.

Hi there chechu,
the mask that I made - ( mask.png ) - goes above the images.
If you want me to make a slideshow with your images of people
then just give them all to me.

Thanks for your help, Coothead, but I am trying to make a series of these images, to be used on different pages (no slideshow).
So I need the mask over the image and the rest to be transparent.
No Photoshop wizard me ...

That's indeed helpfull. So I put my images in your source code, make your mask run and then take a screenshot.
But how did you create that mask image, because I want it more like the one I showed in attachment above.
Thanks!

Hey coothead.
Thanks for you effort, but unfortunately your mask image is not defined enough around the edges.
Can anyone help me out to create a mask out of this image, please?

Hi there chechu,
check out the attachment, it the best that I can do.
As a matter of interest where did you get the image in the first place?
If it was from a site, then perhaps perhaps we could get the original?

Here's a png and an svg file so that you can modify it yourself.
