Flashing Form Element Script

Hi again everyone...:)

Im attempting to use this script:

But out of the full script, Im only using the form text box, not the bottons or anything else :o
Script works great, But I'd like to see if theres a way to change the Text box forum background color from white to black? and still keep the flashing text working :confused:

You can style it with
background-color: black; but it may not always work, because the browser doesn't necessarily render widgets.

But embed that where? I tried a few spots & nothing.

Oppps back again.... Dont get mad at me cause of all the question,
But now that I got the background black? I need to change the flashing text color from black & red to white & red.?
