How to create a online table plan with search box and hilight option

Hi

I want to create a table plan with a search box, so when you type a name or a person or company, a list will appear of names and then when you click on the name it highlight the table that person is sat on. I also want to have a drop box pop off with people names on when you click on a table

its this possible and how can I do this
