View Full Version : Can I use Dynamic Ajax Content or should I stick with SSI script?

I'm running a Prestashop installation in an iFrame of my CMS.
That works fine, but I cannot link from an ouside menu directly to product pages without creating hundreds of iFrames.
That's just not elegant.

But I see on the Dynamic Ajax Content example (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/ajaxcontent.htm) that it will leave the box and displays the standalone site when absolute links are followed!
Now, Prestashop (which is installed in the same root domain as my CMS) uses absolute links throughout their system!

1st question
If I can configure Dynamic Ajax Content to stay inside the box at all times despite the absolute links of Prestashop,
I can switch to it. Otherwise I will stick with SSi script II, but must create a categories/products-navigation.

2nd question
How can I ensure that it's not possible to visit the standalone version of Prestashop (for users), but allow it for admins?

Thanks for your opinions and advices.
