this nav ever been covered?

I came across this left hand column navigation and it works an absolute treat. Just wondered if DD or any other resource sites have covered such a thing?

I'm not sure about that exact version but it looks very similar to the one found Here (http://ypslideoutmenus.sourceforge.net/)

It can be modified to display inline, or vertical.
