Is there a way to make the screen display bold, and enlarge the font? I found settings ---> style configurator, check the "bold" box, and selected a larger font, and then pressed "save and close". It seemed to have no effect. I exited notepad++ and restarted it, still no noticeable effect.

Dunno about bold, but in my version (5.6.8) it's like most browsers:

ctrl + (zoom in)
ctrl - (zoom out)

Different:

ctrl / (restore default zoom)

These (+, -, /) should be pressed on the num pad, but may at times work from their alternate keyboard locations.

Once zoom is set, it effects all open files, and is remembered next time notepad++ is opened.

One can also access these settings from the menu. Choose:

view > zoom >

then pick from Zoom In, Zoom Out, or Restore Default Zoom

The shortcuts I just mentioned are also shown parenthetically in the menu view.

I had 6.9, just updated to 6.9.1.

The link you provided was the cat's whiskers. Notepad++ now satisfies my every whim.

Thank you!
