Hi
I have recently begun to use VBScript to create email stationery. It works fine on my machine, and, as stationery, works fine in preview mode. If I send it to myself, it works fine in the inbox but if I send it to other people, they can't see it or certain features don't work. Does this require a VBrun dll or something? And, if so, is there anyway I can incorporate it?

VBScript only runs in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Internet Explorer. Scripting doesn't belong in emails anyway, but if you must use it, use Javascript, which is at least supported across most current email clients.

Thanks Twey
But if it runs in Outlook then should it not run in Outlook Express? That is the client being used by me and those to whom I have sent the scripted stationery. It was hard enough going from Visual Basic to VBScript and now you want me to learn Java Script as well? Thanks again, Twey
if it runs in Outlook then should it not run in Outlook Express?I have no idea. I would presume that it probably does, but there is a difference in the way it works that's preventing your code from working. In any case, you still shouldn't be using VBScript, so it's not a big issue.
It was hard enough going from Visual Basic to VBScript and now you want me to learn Java Script as well?I'm afraid that's what happens if you learn worthless languages :) Don't worry, it happens to everyone: I had to unlearn quite a bit of Visual Basic and COBOL at one point too, when I learned that they were good for just about nothing :p
