Hi Folks,

On my home computer, volume on all audio, including YouTube, comes through normal. On my office computer, volume on all audio except YouTube comes through normal. For YouTube, and ONLY YouTube, volume comes through the speakers very low. I have to turn the speaker control up to maximum to get what is still a lower than normal sound out.

Has anyone any clue as to why that might be happening? And how to cure it?

A.

There's a little volume control on the YouTube player control bar too - maybe that is set down low in your office but high at home?

Hi Bev,

Good to hear from you again.

I did consider that possibility, looked for a YouTube volume control, and found a volume icon. All that control lets me do is mute the volume completely. If YouTube provides another volume control button, I can't find it.

The YouTube control allows you to mute and unmute the video, and to select everything between mute and unmute. Move the mouse over the volume-icon, then click somewhere on the volume controlbar that will appear to the right of the icon.
