1) Script Title: Thumbnailviewer

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/thumbnail.htm

3) Describe problem: I made a gallery which contains 7 albums, all of them are using the thumbnailviewer. Now 5 of them are working just fine, but the two largest albums won't work. The first album (Jubileumconcert) isn't showing all of the thumbnails (scrolling down you see only 4 out 35) but when you click the empty spaces a large picture does come up. The other album (Laatste repetitie) only shows 1 of 18 thumbnails, and none of the enlargments work. Local everything is working perfect, but after uploading it just doesn't...
The website I'm referring to is http://www.staendetuygh.nl/foto2.htm. The back arrow at the bottom of the albums brings you to the "under construction"page, so please use the back arrow from your browser.
I'm just an amateur and English is not my native language, so please keep the answer simple :-)

The images are not on the server in the location specified. For example, on the Jubileum Concert page, the relative path to the first small image is in your markup as this: "images/Jubileum/01ST01_small.jpg",
which means the same as http://www.staendetuygh.nl/images/Jubileum/01ST01_small.jpg (in relation to your page) <-- click on the link and you can see the image doesn't exists.

So, things to check/try;

- make sure the small images are where you say they are on the server (check that they are uploaded to the correct folder)
- try using absolute paths (e.g http://www.staendetuygh.nl/images/Jubileum/01ST01_small.jpg) as that might help you troubleshoot
- check that the file names match those defined in the markup ("01ST01_small.jpg" is not the same as "01ST01_SMALL.jpg", or "01ST01_small.JPG")
- check that the file extension are correct (maybe you're mixing jpg and jpeg?)

To confirm, on the Laatste repetitive page, the images in your markup start with a lowercase "a" BUT the actual filenames start with a capital "A". Correct the filenames and they work fine.

The most likely reason this works locally, but not online, is due to operating system differences. Windows (I'm guessing you're working locally on a Windows computer) is NOT case-sensitive, whereas a UNIX-based web host server IS case-sensitive - so things work with the filename differences on your local computer but they break on your web host's server.

Thank you soooo much! It was all about using capitols and regular letters, never knew it made that difference... You're a life saver!! Thanks!
