Hi folks,

I know that this does not really belong here, but I posted the question on the "Other" forum and got no reply, so hoping somebody here can help me.

I have a subdomain hosted on my website. When somebody navigates to the subdomain, the browser status bars will show the main site's address.

For example, say mysub.com is a subdomain on mymainsite.com. When somebody types in mysub.com, various status messages, such as resolving, connecting, transferring, will show mysub.mymainsite.com.

Is there any way to prevent browsers showing the mymainsite.com part?

Thanks in advance
