Yesterday I posted a help post about a problem I'm having with the Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.6) which I downloaded from this site 3 days ago. The issue I described is easy to reproduce and I provided a link to an example of the problem on my web host's server. I also included copies of my implementation of the script and all of its component parts in an attached zip file. I wouldn't have zipped it; but the site limits me to 3 uploaded attachments and as it is written, the implemented DD script consists of four parts. Finally, I carefully followed all the rules for help posts here including the exact name of the script and a link to its original location on the DD server. However, this morning I find my post has neither been approved for view by others nor answered by the admin here.
As a new member, I'm not sure what that means. Did I do something wrong? I tried to carefully follow the posting rules for free script help requests. Do posts requesting help with the free scripts provided on this site often get ignored? Or should I assume the admin here was just too busy to either answer or approve my post?
Sorry. I don't mean to whine or complain. I'm just not sure how to interpret "absolutely no response" or what I should/can do next?
Thanks for any insight you can provide.
