Better presentation of images in newsletter

Good morning.
I have create a newsletter with mailchimp.
I would like the pictures in newsletter to open with a nice pop up effect (Like lightbox on websites).
Is this possible?

Probably not. The thing is, you can incorporate that sort of thing (javascript) into an email, but virtually all email clients will not allow it to run. I think that the best one can do if you want your images to work like that is to provide a link to a page on the web where you have them set up to do that. Like you could just have the images shown in the normal fashion in the email, and then have a link beneath each one to a page where they're set up with a lightbox. Or have just one link at the top and/or bottom of the email for folks who might want the more interactive, web based page. Like:

Then have the images here

Then at the bottom, have a link something like:

For More Information

Have that go to an actual web page where you can use javascript.
