alter mouse drop shadow

does anyone know how to alter the default mouse drop shadow so that instead of a few pixels offset for x and y it is instead 20px or 30 px offset?

In Javascript?
Well, you could specify a new cursor with cursor: url(path/to/new/cursor.cur), or, you could have a little shadow image trail around after the cursor with body.onmousemove.
