1) Script Title: pauseScroller
2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/crosstick.htm
3) Describe problem: thanks for the great scroller, I have been using it for many years. Now however I have the scroller behind a header menu option, so it is not visible until a user selects/hovers over the option. The scroller is of course running already, which causes no issues, except in IE8, where the text is visible over other elements as it scrolls. Z-index doesn't help in this situation as the scroller has to roll above the orher elements when it is actually meant to be visible.
Is there a way to not have the scroller start until a user selects the menu option ?
Thanks for any help.
