Can you provide links to some "spectacular" sites or scripts using JavaScript, CSS3, Flash or whatever. Would be interested in DD and/or non-DD examples.

I should perhaps be researching possible CSS3 transitions/transformations.

The end use would be to display multiple images of artist/illustrator. The images I have to work with are about 300x500 pixels. We do not have any large photo-type images.

It sounds like you're looking for an image gallery script? There are examples in the DD library if you look in the Image category:http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/index.html . Other than that, in the outside world, the only advice I can give you is that you need to hone a specific search term and then Google it. Web devs tend to be proud of their work and if its particularly good or inspiring, other devs and interested parties are likely to tweet about it or refer to demos in blogs, resulting in more prominent results in Google searches.
