User Controlled Scrolling Slideshow with Links?

3) Describe problem: I have a client whose site I'm revamping and would like to offer all of their PDF files via a slideshow where the image of the PDF is hyperlinked to the PDF file. The slideshow would be user controlled with arrows.

I would greatly appreciate it if anyone could recommend the best way to do this using an existing or modified DD script.
