View Full Version : MP3 samples play at same time on some web browsers

Hi,

I've been putting together some podcast broadcasts for the History faculty and they work really well on my PC at school and laptop at home and the History teacher has tested them and says they work well on her PC.

However, some children have been saying that ALL the MP3's play at the same time when they click on the first one and all they hear is them all playing together.

I've just used ordinary HTML on this but think it may be something to do with whatever browser they're using. Any body got any ideas how to improve this?

There are two possible methods:

1, Use the standard MP3 player installed in our Intranet software, the down side to that is that it's clunky and ugly.

2, Make a Flash MP3 player, (I have one from a previous assignment) and modify that, but that's a time consuming task.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated, here's the code:

Odd, but that is how it is supposed to be. The browsers that are playing all of them at once are actually doing the right thing.
