When I preview the demo for chromemenu in firefox
the letter v shows up after the links Resources News and Search

It does not appear in IE

can some one help me or tell me why this is

Ok, maybe I should add something on the demo page regarding this. The "v" is intentional, used to denote that this link drops down in Firefox, Opera etc. Inside chromestyle.css:


#chromemenu ul li a[onMouseover]:after{ /*HTML to indicate drop down link*/
content: " v";
/*content: " " url(downimage.gif); /*uncomment this line to use an image instead*/
}

If you don't want the "v", just remove the code above. IE doesn't support CSS2 generated contents (http://www.javascriptkit.com/dhtmltutors/cssgenerate.shtml), so it doesn't appear in IE.
