1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in slideshow (v2.4)

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem:

I've used this slideshow on several sites but can't get it to work on the current one (home page). I've installed the fadeslideshow.js in the same place as the home page. I've deleted the part for fadeshow2 as I only need one (also tested it with that section included). I have the HTML5 doc type set up and have also tested it with transitional 4.1. I made sure the 3 images included are in the same folder as the page and that my image files are written correctly. The image size is set for the largest image.

Nothing works. Can anyone suggest what to try next?

PS: the /* for comments wouldn't validate so I changed it to // (i tried it both ways).

Here is the doctype:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript" src="fadeslideshow.js">

// Ultimate Fade In Slideshow v2.0- (c) Dynamic Drive DHTML code library
// (www.dynamicdrive.com)
// This notice MUST stay intact for legal use
// Visit Dynamic Drive at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ for this script and 100s more

</script>

<script type="text/javascript">

var mygallery=new fadeSlideShow({
wrapperid: "fadeshow1", //ID of blank DIV on page to house Slideshow
dimensions: [200, 200], //width/height of gallery in pixels. Should reflect dimensions of largest image
imagearray: [
["imagesclients/rubeshmpg1.jpg"],
["imagesclients/drjylhmpg2.gif"],
["imagesclients/odwhmpg1.jpg"],
["imagesclients/rdb-hm-pg1.gif"],
["imagesclients/jagbitsnewhmpg2.gif"],
["imagesclients/bbyhmpg1.jpg"] //<--no trailing comma after very last image element!
],
displaymode: {type:'auto', pause:2500, cycles:0, wraparound:false},
persist: false, //remember last viewed slide and recall within same session?
fadeduration: 500, //transition duration (milliseconds)
descreveal: "ondemand",
togglerid: ""
})

</script>

Here is the div calling up the slideshow on the web page:

<div class="slideshow"><div id="fadeshow1"></div></div>

So this slideshow is on the home page and you say you've included the images in the same folder - that would be the root, but the images in the script are in a sub folder called "imagesclients". Correct that and it may fix things but for any further help please posts link you your live page.
