1) Script Title: Pixelating Slide Show

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/pixelate.htm

3) Describe problem:
Okay, every bit of info I can find on this script only references IE 5.5. What about IE7, IE8, IE9? The slideshow in IE9 at least does not function. I'm getting an error - "Unable to get property '0' of undefined or null reference". The error refers specifically to the filter value in this line:
var pixeldelay=(ie55)? document.images.slide.filters[0].duration*1000:0

Granted, with IE, God himself only knows if that's the only issue, but it is at least the only error message. I have the slideshow here if you'd like to see it: www.darksidecow.com/test.html. It works great everywhere but IE. Please help.

Thank you!!

This is an outdated slideshow that took advantage of the - at that time innovative IE proprietary filters. Since then IE has first, changed the syntax of, next the functionality of, and then started a phase out of these filters.

Although the slideshow can be tweaked to at least act like an ordinary slideshow in modern IE, and perhaps even coaxed to pixelate in modern IE, it will never be anything other than an ordinary slideshow in most browsers. My advice therefore would be to update to a more recent slideshow like:

There are many other options. Google:
