To make that work, you must use a serverside programming language to send back the data for each link.
The script is very complicated and designed to work closely with amazon's system, and it would take a long time to take out just the parts you need.
I think there are other scripts that do almost the same thing, if you look around on for example hotscripts.com or dynamicdrive.com.
