Hi everybody. I have a website that i have been working on for the past few years. The website has grown to attract a lot of web enthusiasts and now i wish to have an analysis of the website with respect to backlinks and number of followers. Is there any script i can rely on?

Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools are probably some the widest used, free solutions:
http://www.google.com/analytics/ and http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

Sitetrail.com gives you a detailed analysis of a website from social media followers to SEO. You get information about the number of backlinks, visitors and the revenues that could be generated on the site. You should check it out, you will not regret it.

As Beverleyh mentioned you should register with google analytics and webmaster tools. For google analytics you will need to add the their script to each page. For webmaster tools it is enough to place an html verification file in the root of the website which requires FTP access. If you have no access to the code or server I suggest to use one of the free website analysis tools for example iwebchk.com. Hope this helps.
