ISO blogger CSS code for side wrapper borders

Hello,

I have a 3-column blog with blogger and i want to have a border all the way around each sidebar widget as seen at
http://calagrulesandregs.blogspot.com

but I'm not sure how to integrate that CSS with the HTML in my blog at
anmariebowdencreations.blogspot.com

I tried to post the code from my blog in this message, but dynamicdrive said it was too many characters.

Having never used Blogger, I am unsure where you make template edits or how much freedom you have over customisation. It seems to be quite limited though judging by the odd question we've had from Blogger users in the past. Most active members here are more familiar with building/hosting their own websites, and having complete backend access, rather than using 3rd party hosted services, so it can make things difficult in the sense that we might advise a Blogger user to do something but they are unable to do it because they don't have full access to the backend.

thanks hun, but what i need is someone who can code and integrate the two, i've already been all over google and that's why i ended up posting here. as you can see from the first example blog, it can be done in the back end. the second example blog just needs the CSS code put into the proper place. i'm asking for help on where the proper place is so i don't disturb any of the code already in place.

From what I can see in the source code, the widgets with the round corners are all contained in a series of "art-block-" divs that are inserted on the fly with JavaScript. They are not directly part of the template markup. If they were, this task would be much easier.

Although it's relatively easy to extract the CSS from the source code, the JavaScript functions seem to be an integral part of the template and/or Blogger software, and at over 3000 lines of code, it would be a very daunting task for anybody here to attempt to first make sense of the pertinent parts, and then advise you how to apply them to your own template, and via a limited interface.

Typically we would advise somebody coming here with such a large page, to strip it back to a more manageable size, but as this is a 3rd party service, I dont imagine that you have the backend access to do that.

In a case such as this I would recommend that you approach a Blogger developer, or a Blogger-specific community at least, as they will have the knowledge to help you more easily.

As it stands on DD, we can offer general help, but for such specific jobs as this, I imagine that the majority of active (developing) members here do not have that kind of specialised knowledge.

You could ask somebody to take on the job for you in the paid help forum, but I suspect that before they could offer any real help, they'd need a good few hours to get to grips with the Blogger platform, its limitations, dependancies and capabilities, which would be rather costly for you - Much more so than going to an actual dedicated Blogger developer and just paying them for a template build/customisation.

If somebody steps in here who is able to help, that's great, but I'm afraid that I'm not the right person for the job. I'm very sorry about that.
