The demo page states:
Note: June 27th, 11'- Fixed minor IE9 bug (.js file updated).
However, inside the thumbnailviewer.js file we see:

// Last updated: July 7th, 2008- Fixed enlarged image not showing in IE sometimes

It's my understanding that the thumbnailviewer.js file has been updated. But it doesn't say so and probably should.
