View Full Version : Conveyor Belt Slideshow Script

I am running the Conveyor Belt Slideshow Script found at http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/leftrightslide.htm and love it. I am using it on a Blogger site. I want to add another one showing different images. When I add the script to another html frame, it screws up the other one to where they both won't work. How can I run this script twice on the same page?

That script is a one per page script. This script can be configured to act like it:

and can be used as many times as you like on a page.

Or you could make up a separate page for the second Conveyor and have that show through on your current page via an iframe.

Or you could try out this version of Conveyor:

Use your browser's "View Source" to get the code.

I have tried that first one several times and never got it to work. I will try the second one and see how it goes.

Thanks for the reply

I was able to use the second option you gave me. I tried to make it work in separate frames but it left a large gap in second table. So put two in one frame and it looks good. Thanks Again.

There could also be other problems, but most of your images are 404 Not Found. Without those images, the script cannot accurately calculate the space it needs. That means that in some browsers it won't work at all, in others you will see broken image icons scrolling along.

is not a valid image either. You need valid images. You have to be able to use it in an ordinary image tag as the src attribute and see an image.

If you want to test the script, use real images.

I really want to use the Conveyor Belt slideshow but it seems I am stuck on the same area.
I am unable to edit this line so it may work: leftrightslide[0]='<a href="http://"><img src="dynamicbook1.gif" border=1></a>'
I have an online photo gallery (http://jamesnealphotography.zenfolio.com) could someone please advise what path goes where?
Much appreciation, James
