gAjax RSS Feeds Displayer not working with my feed url...

3) Describe problem: I have this feed url that works fine when I go to it in my browser but it wont display when I use it with this script... The url is:

I don't think they can give me a cleaner url, is there anything I can do to make it work with the script?

So it's not the URL, that can be any length and as complex as it needs to be to point to the feed. It's the fact that the mrhat.dev.nova.edu server cannot be reached. Perhaps it's an intranet. Or you may have misspelled/mistyped it.

Well it might be the URL too. But we cannot know that until we reach the mrhat.dev.nova.edu server or wherever the feed is hosted.

yeah, i just found out its not accessible outside of our network... trying to get it opened now... is that the problem?

It might not be the only problem, but yes it is a problem that needs to be fixed. Ordinarily (like if the feed parser were on the same server that hosts the feed), if you're logged on to the network it might work. But since you're using the Google hosted version, Google would need to be logged on to the network, which I imagine is impossible.

If your host has PHP, you might consider using one of the other RSS scripts that do the feed parsing on their own server, that might work even if the feed is only accessible on the network. And if it does, it might even work if the user viewing your page isn't logged on to the network.
