Slick Custom Scrollbar: Un-styled in IE

Implemented the script in a somewhat complicated environment on a CS-Cart Product Description page. It works beautifully in Firefox and Chrome. In IE, the content bleeds over the content below it with no scrollbar.

I feel like I've been staring at this code for too long and maybe a fresh set of eyes will pick up what I bet is an obvious code error.

Hmm... submitted before I changed the title which should read: No scrollbar spawning in IE.

UPDATE: added overflow:hidden; and overflow-y:auto; to my descbox CSS class to keep the IE content viewable for the time being, since this is a live environment.
