1) Script Title: Animated Collapsible DIV v2.4

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex17/animatedcollapse.htm

3) Describe problem: I'm not sure if it's just Firefox but when I use the script every time you click the div open or close you get a status pop-up. It's obviously ruining the purpose of the script if you have to acknowledge something every two seconds. Is there a way around this or is it just a problem with Firefox?

Not happening here for me on the demo page in Firefox. Does it happen for you on the demo page, or just on your page? If it's just your page, it probably has something to do with your implementation, most likely the "ontoggle" event.

If you want more help, please include a link to the page on your site that contains the problematic code so we can check it out.

The forum must think that ******* is a bad word. It could be used in flaming I suppose.

Anyways, here's the problem and the solution, as I thought it was the "ontoggle" event. Add the red comment tokens as shown to the highlighted line (from the page's source code):

<script type="text/javascript">

animatedcollapse.addDiv('twosteelballs', 'fade=1')
animatedcollapse.addDiv('grampit', 'fade=1')

animatedcollapse.ontoggle=function($, divobj, state){
//alert("1) DIV ID: " + divobj.id + "\n2) Current State: "+state)
}

animatedcollapse.init()

</script>

The browser cache may need to be cleared and/or the page refreshed to see changes.
