Hi all,
Has anyone a vertical scrolling script please.
I would like to use it on my Ebay listings.
Here is an example,towards the bottom of the page.

That's a Flash widget from:

http://www.supreme-auction.com/

where some are free. It's unclear to me what restrictions and/or branding are mandatory for the free versions. I'm sure there are some, probably enough to make the free versions practically useless.

That sort of thing (vertical scroller) can be done in javascript alone. However, Ebay has restrictions on javascript which may or may not make using a javascript only version of a vertical scroller virtually impossible.

I don't understand what the problem is, it is nice and centered when I look at it. However, you can just shange the positioning and width of the marquee using css. Say if you didn't like where it was and wanted it 10px to the right of where it is currently, qith the css rules for marquee, just put:

position: relative;
left: 10px;

or however far to the right you want it.
Or if you then wanted it smaller, you could just say:

width: 50px;

or however wide you want it.

Hello
When you say it looks ok to you are you looking at the text that reads,,,Thanks For Looking At My Listing & Please Come Back Again,if so that is not the problem.

I supplied 2 files,one called script & one called page.
I would like the script inserted into the page at the point as shown in the photo also supplied.

Thanks for the reply & hope you can insert it for me.

For scrolling text and images, I usually use: http://logicbox.net/jquery/simplyscroll

It's very easy to setup and use and it's very flexible.

Sorry about that, I musn't have read your post correctly, so when you're trying to insert the script into the page, can't you fix the positioning of the scrollbox using CSS?
