Hi folks

i know this should be an easy fix, just giving the drop down menu a high z-index. i have given it an index of 300 and it still appears below a nivo slider. i have given the nivo container an index of 1.
i see it appearing this way in IE7, though my client swears he see it in IE8 too and also IE9.

any ideas?

Thanks!!

This link should provide you with your answer:

It walks through it in simple steps.

Thanks for the reply!

i tried both ideas
the closest i go, kind of work, ie - the drop down menus were indeed above the nivo slider, but they never disappeared on mouse out again.

I think there's gonna have to be a time when the WebDev community as a whole takes Internet Explorer outside and put it out of it's misery. It's like a half blind, incontinent, elderly cat that you have to constantly look after and remind it that it has to eat occasionally. You have to clean up after it and most people in the world have forgotten about it now. It's still a part of the family but everyone is secretly waiting for someone to take it to the vet for his last injection.
