want to explore wordpress allso

Hi there..
A lot of you are talking about WP and I read about it a lot arround the net.. so I've decided to check it out.

But... there's no demoversion out there... Is it really necessary to upload it to your server, before you can try it out?

I'm very visual, and would like to see how the workspace look - and how it works.

Can anyone help with a link, that shows a little more visual how wordpress works.

I once used it on my home computer (but never really liked it).

First you need to be able to run php on your computer.
I suggest downloading WAMP (http://www.wampserver.com/en/). It's a free server software that runs php.

Next go to here (http://wordpress.org/download/), to download wordpress for you're wamp server.

The demo was nice - gave me a little picture of the system.
- a lot to learn, when it's not coding your way through anymore... :)

Some day I'll try it out.
