1) Script Title: Ultimate Fade-in Slideshow

2) Script URL (on DD):http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex14/fadeinslideshow.htm

3) Describe problem:

The website I am working on is http://www.ironsidecomputers.com . There is a slideshow already integrated into the website however I need to add simple small navigation buttons to overlay the bottom right corner of the slideshow that allows viewers to toggle between images. I tried implimenting extrabuttons.js but nothing was appearing.

How do I go about adding the navigation buttons to the slideshow?

What? Toggle next/previous? If so, just use the native togglerdiv as shown for fadeshow2 of Step 1 and as demonstrated in the 4rth demo show on the demo page and place its division on your page. You can use css to move its buttons over the lower right of the slideshow.

If you need individual buttons for each slide, extra buttons works and is probably your best bet so try again. If you're still having problems with it, put up a separate page with the extra buttons code on it with your slideshow and give us a link to it so we can diagnose the problem.

Extra buttons does require a toggler div be configured for the slideshow and used for the extra buttons, perhaps that's what you were missing before. Even if you only want individual buttons and no next/previous or counter, you need a toggler div. You can leave the next/previous buttons and/or counter out of it though if you like.

Thanks for the help. I'll give extra buttons another go.
