Would there be an "image" guru that could take the date on this image

http://www.web-user.info/css3/2/img/paper_center.jpg

and change it to a near recent date?

I have no idea how to do this and would really appreciate it if someone that knows how to do this type of stuff assist me.

if this is not a huge deal, the newspaper name and the line to the left being changed to a more realistic would be cool...but not a nessacity

I could do this for you, but wouldn't it be easier to just recreate it? It's just text, and a fancy font on top. MS Word could do this. Do you need this very specific layout for some reason? You could certainly copy it pretty closely if needed.

Hi there ajfmrf,

you can see a reworking of your image to a layout here...
http://www.coothead.co.uk/ajfmrf/newspaper.html
...and download all the files here...
http://www.coothead.co.uk/ajfmrf.zipl

You will notice that I have used a different background-image in the example,
but have included your own image background just in case you prefer it. ;)

As it is now a layout rather than an image, you can, of course, edit
everything to suit your own requirements.

Sure, just take a screen capture. (Or save as a PDF and convert the PDF to an image.)
