Custom "jQuery Scroll to Top Control v1.1"

Hi!

Im trying to customize this script (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/scrolltop.htm)
so it moves on the X axis, not the Y axis.

Im not really experienced in jQuery, so could you help me please? :confused:
