Field Limiter stops working when called into div with ajax

3) Describe problem:
The above script works fine except in the instance when I use ajax to call the page with this script into another div tag on the page

I test the page by itself the character count shows and works fin, but when the same page is loaded into another div tag on a page with an ajax call the script no longer functions, I dont know if it is to do with the way it is referencing the id's, as I have even tried the page by itself with all the other scripts on it and it still works, its only when called into that div tag

Any Ideas?

I have since decided not to bother with this script and reverted to the form input tag maxlength.
