View Full Version : font color change

I am using FP 2003 for my site and just need a simple effect.

I need the font color to change when a mouse hovers over the text in the menu. I will select the particular text that it will apply to. However, I have no idea how to apply this and Google results are very broad / not on par to the simplicity I am looking for.

I am not using anything past basic html. No css or such.

Found this method:

a:hover{color:FF9900; }
a:link{color:2E304E; }
a:visited{color:2E304E; }

However, any visited links show as the 2E304E but the hover to FF9900 does not work on visited links. How can I correct that?

I'm not positive but, give this a whirl:

<style type="text/css">
a:link {

a:visited {

a:hover {

The expanded listing style is just that (a different way to look at it), the only real changes are the order of the selectors, the use of the # prefix (required by most browsers) and the addition of the current proper use of the type attribute with the opening style tag. The theory being that the last listed selector (other things being equal) will take precedence.
