hi guys i am trying to get some javascript to check if all inputs are filled in here is my form

<legend><a id="myHeader1" href="javascript:showonlyone('newboxes1');" >
<fieldset style="width:250px;">Who and Where?</a></legend>
<div name="newboxes" id="newboxes1" style="display: none;">

<form name="vrv" method="post" action="vevx.php">

<fieldset style="width:210px;">
<legend>Engineers Name:-</legend>
<input name="engineer" type="text" class="text"/>
</fieldset>
<fieldset style="width:210px;">
<legend>Site Address:-</legend>
<textarea rows="6" cols="15" name="site" /></textarea>
</fieldset>

</div>
</fieldset>

i have 5 forms on the same page but only one submit button. Each form is hidden till href="javascript:showonlyone('newboxes1');" i want to put a tick or word next to the Who and Where?(title) to indicate this form has a entry in each field

PS I dont understand javascript at all so PLEASE keep it simple
