Need a script/service for a button who makes the page your startsite

Is there any such scripts out there? Got the button to work on some IE browers, but not all. And it disnt work on firefox/chrome/safari - Could something like that be made?

The term you need is "home page":

And there's actually a script on this site that can do it:

However, it looks like only IE allows this-- the other browsers don't have this feature.

One option would be to allow them to set a bookmark (which works in most browsers) rather than setting the home page.
