1) Script Title: rollover image?

2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex8/newwindow2.htm

3) Describe problem:
currently making a website for my clan and I have a menu with 7 buttons.
6 of the buttons link to sites within my site so I don't need windows to pop up
when I click them. But the one that has a link that goes outside my site, I need it to pop up in a new window, I thought I found a script that did it but it won't display the rollover image when I put my mouse on it. Any suggestions?

p.s. the script url is not applicable because I could not find one that I needed on here, that's why I posted the question!

If all you want is a new window or tab, you don't need a script. Just add target="_blank" or target="_new" to your link:

<a href="www.google.com/" target="new">some text or image</a>

That shouldn't interfere with a rollover unless for some reason your rollover code uses the target attribute, does it?

If you want more help:

Please post a link to a page on your site that contains the problematic code so we can check it out.

Niiiiiiiiiiice thank you. Is there anyway to make it come up as an adjustable size and no tool bar?

Due to security concerns all browsers restrict what can be left off of a pop up window. And browsers may be set to open all pop ups as new tabs instead. Virtually all browsers in their default pop up blocking setup will allow a pop up that's 'user initiated' as is this one. But most if not all browsers can be set to block these as well.

That said, give this a shot:

<a href="http://www.forum.com/" onMouseOut="MM_swapImgRestore()"
onclick="open(this.href, '_new', 'width=600,height=450,top=150,left=125,resizable'); return false;"
onMouseOver="MM_swapImage('m12','','../../../Documents/Unnamed Site 3/m14.jpg',1)">test<img
src="../../../Documents/Unnamed Site 3/m13.jpg" name="m12" width="88" height="22" border="0">
</a>
