A little help about choosing my hosting account

Hi, don't know if this is the right place to begin with but I know you guys have great ideas when it comes to selecting a reliable provider. :confused: I've been searching for several reviews about some reliable hosting companies for my first website, and found some pretty good user ones about inmotion hosting webhostingsearch.com/review/inmotion/userreviews, it's not too costly and been reading a lot of good stuffs about them. Guess I'd be more convince if I hear it from you guys directly, Do you think inmotion is really worth a try? or has anyone had bad experince wth them before?

every host has someone with a bad experience. every host has good reviews about their service.

are you just looking for "cheap"? or do you need good customer service and tech support; do you plan to be there forever?

If you're just looking for cheap, the key is to find a company that hasn't been drummed out of business after a few years. Hostgator, hostmonster, whatever (I've used those for client projects, and they were both fine - hostgator even had decent tech support and CS). it almost doesn't matter who you choose, because everyone offers similar services at similar prices and have similar disadvantages. Just don't go with a newer company or a reseller.

If you want a real, quality host, try 1&1 (my host for years) or mediatemple (used for my corporate clients). not cheap, but very good.

Hi, Yeah I'm looking for a cheap one yet reliable. I also red about host gator reviews and quite convince how good they are. I'm gonna go check on 1&1 host that your suggesting! Thanks for the info :)
