Hi Everyone,

Love the look of this script and it does just about everything I want, bar one thing, which is setting up the array from a database.

How can I populate the news[] array from a recordset (rs_news)?

Well, it really is just a matter of using whatever server side language in question to output the JavaScript array containing the messages dynamically. I highly recommend reading this page (http://www.javascriptkit.com/javatutors/externalphp2.shtml) for some good info on this.
