jsmenubar location firefox/opera problems

Hi, I am using the jsdomenubar (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/jsdomenubar/) from dynamic drive and I am having problems getting it to be in the same place in ie and in firefox

In ie it is correctly positioned in the center of the page, which is where i want it. but in firefox and opera it is off to the right by ~5-10 pixels
I have been having this problem for some time and have been unable to resolve it.

One tip: If you have a style declaration that can influence the left position of the menu, use the !important hack, ex:

style="position:relative;left:20px!important;left:25px;"

In the above, FF and Opera will render 5px to the left of IE, compensating for a 5px offset between them and IE, if one exists.

One idea: This menu has extensive documentation and demos. I'd particularly want to see if using one of the strict mode templates (using an appropriate DOCTYPE) would take care of this alignment issue. In general, a very full or better yet, several full readings of the documentation may yield a helpful suggestion from the author.

Note: This is one of those 'third party' scripts that generally will not receive much support in these forums (something you already know if you've read the 'read before posting' messages).
