Easy Media Script Errors

Hi guys , I've recently installed a script called "Easy Media Script". This is a free php script for uploading & viewing images, videos or flash files.

Thing is , it's a really big script and I keep geting some errors in the "error_log" saying this:

Now, from what I gathered I see like different php files from this system and I really don't know how to fix those errors.

The files are :

#0 - ThumbBase.inc.php (line 172)
#1 - ThumbBase.inc.php (line 110)
#2 - GdThumb.inc.php (line 96)
#3 - PhpThumbFactory.class.php (line 127)
#4 - Upload.class.php (line 224 and line 242)
#5 - upload.php (line 66)
#6 - ThumbBase.inc.php (line 193)

*You have those in the error_log.

I've uploaded the files within an archive called "ems.zip" because I had more then 1000 characters.


So those are the five files that gives me trouble. I'm sorry for requesting your help with this , but the support team from Easy Media Script did'n answer.

I really hope you can help me with this , and if you need anything else form this script "system" I'll gladly help.

Looks like a disaster. Try checking if the paths in those errors exist, and that they have local read/write permissions.

Well , yes they exist and it's the exact path like the one in the error_log , if you want to I can give you acces and see the entire script, the errors and how it works .Just let me know.

If the paths exist, and the script is not able to read/write to them, it means there's a permissions error of some degree, in which case it's probably not a scripting error.

What do the permissions CHMOD look like on them? (e.g., 555/666/777) Try setting all of the paths to 755.

The permissions are at 755, it can't be about that.
The problem is , when I try to upload an image for example it keep saying "There was an error during the upload". When I try to embed a video it shows me the "Please Wait" notification an stays like that for ever.

I get taken to a blank page when trying to upload an image.

All of the errors from that error log indicate that it's a permissions/empty directory error. It's unlikely that there's a scripting error.

I could have a look at it for you if you want. Please don't post any login info here.
