View Full Version : Anylink repositioning feature. HELP, HELP!!!

I'm using DD Anylink dropdown menu.
for an assignment, which is due on the coming Mon.

Somebody using IE on a Mac just told me that the menu repositions itself to the top left of the screen when being moused over.

When I look at the code I see this:

function getposOffset(what, offsettype){
var totaloffset=(offsettype=="left")? what.offsetLeft : what.offsetTop;
var parentEl=what.offsetParent;
while (parentEl!=null){
totaloffset=(offsettype=="left")? totaloffset+parentEl.offsetLeft : totaloffset+parentEl.offsetTop;
return totaloffset;

I guess it's the reason, but I don't know about scripting, so don't know how to fix, adjust, or just get rid that repositioning feature without affecting the rest of the script.

Since my instructor may use a mac to look at the website, if that happens, then it's catastrophic.

Anybody can help me please to get rid of the repositioning feature. I'd rather have the dropdown menu not drop if there's something wrong with the browser than have it drop and reposition itself at the same time.

Thanks thanks a lot for any help.
