2) AUTHOR NAME/NOTES: Levente Kovacs

I like it. What happens if a device is incompatible? Would it revert back to a standard select dropdown?

It should be rendered in every major browser in a usable way. It may not look the same, because we're using CSS3 gradients for example, but a browser that runs jQuery should be ok.

But what happens in, for example, a text-only browser, or a very primitive mobile phone? Of course it won't need to look the same. It just should function in some basic way.
