Best CSS Book

Which is the best printed book on CSS that you recommend?
Please don't tell about online resources or ebooks.

I think everyone has not replied because we all use online resources. There's lots out there, but I agree that it may be hard to find a single all-inclusive source, and it is nice to have something to read. That said, I don't know of anything.

I've used the Sams "Teach yourself ____ in 24 hours" series and I have generally found the books to be very useful. (The writing styles range from engaging to slightly dry, but still useful.) Note that "24 hours" varies-- sometimes it's "21 days" or "10 minutes" depending on the complexity of the topic. I haven't use this series for CSS, but I would recommend it, especially as the type of tech support book that you would actually read cover to cover (if that's your intent).
(There's a competing series called "Teach yourself _____", and I've never used those-- if you're looking for what I'm suggesting make sure it has the "24 hours" or equivalent in the title.)

It looks like there are two:
"Sams Teach Yourself CSS in 24 Hours"
"Sams Teach Yourself CSS in 10 Minutes"
I'd recommend the 24h version since I've used those and they're detailed.

it also depends on what you want out of the book. everyone's different.

For example, I find very little use in "tutorial" -style books, especially where they are supposed to be "easy to read" and get you "up and running quick."

Reference books, however, -just an organized list of selectors, properties, values, notes, etc.- never leave my desk.

We all use internet resources to learn web design, and we said that while posting. You can't expect us to answer something we don't know, and I believe the advice we have given is helpful, though not especially detailed.
