multi-select open file

i don't know if this is the right thread for my problem,.

anyways,. can you help me how to know the code for multi-select open file,.

it's like the file-upload but the difference is i'm not going to upload the files,

i just want them to open then parse each file,.

my current system is you have to choose each file and each file has individual file browser (file upload field),,
