View Full Version : blinking caret/cursor in input doesn't work on chorme (toggled visibility by jquery)

I'm new to jquery so I'm sorry if that a dump question.
I'm using a script to toggle visibility to a login form,

everything work great except that in chrome the caret/cursor text inside the input fields is not blinking, it looks frozen.

I've tried adding .focus() to the script for first input field and that works until the user is clicking somewhere in the form, than the cursor is freezing again (probably something to do with the event).

anyway I'd really appreciate any ideas you might have to solve this issue on chrome.

the script:

$(".signin").click(function(e) {

$("fieldset#signin_menu").mouseup(function() {
return false
$(document).mouseup(function(e) {
if($(e.target).parent("a.signin").length==0) {
