Ajax style comment board (Example included)

How do you make a facebook style comments board where it auto refreshes and slides down as new content appears at the top? Or where can I find such code? Look at the bottom of this article for an example of what I mean:

I see these everywhere now. I created something similar a few years ago, but new posts just pop up every 20 seconds. I'm wondering how to get that loading icon and then have the previous comments slide down smoothly.

EDIT: Strange, when I go to get the code it says "LOADING..." but nothing happens. This happens at all of the other plugins too. Do I need to have a facebook account to use these?

EDIT: Found the problem. For some reason your link takes me to the same page as this link:

But I can only get the code if I used this link. The only difference is http vs. https. Anyway, for anyone else who wants facebook plugins...
