I put the config.js and the images and includes folders in my root of public_html.

I also have subfolders in public_html with the contents of websites that link from my main page.

If I put any relative path references (e.g. .../images or ../config.js) the files won't display. The only way I have been able to figure out getting around this is to put a copy of config.js, the images and includes folders in each of my public_html subfolders.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there something I can do to make it work?

Relative paths are always a problem. Unless there's a reason not to, it's always best to use absolute paths.

OK, but even with absolute paths I still have to put a copy of config.js and the images and includes folders in each of my public_html subfolders.

Can you post a link to your site here? I'm willing to try to troubleshoot it for you.
